hello hobo techo
Yaaayyy.. !! The package has finally arrived. The famous hobonichi techo 2014 (english version), a red cover with its clear plastic cover, the orange writing sheet (called pencil board), and 3 kinds of stencils. Although it's kinda late, --we're already at the end of January now-- but we can use techo to note anything. Just like hacking a moleskine. We'll see..
lamy fountain
After blogwalking for quite sometime, I believe the most popular fountain pen among stationery freaks is the Lamy Safari. The pen is claimed to be affordable and dependable. So I grab one for myself.. for the sake of curiosity. I found it in Kinokuniya bookstore in Jakarta. Haven't managed to use it yet, be patient for the review.. am still too
excited just for having it. This is one of my wishlist for this year and
got it in January !! ah ouiiii... déjà.. !! Well, actually I bought the Lamy Al-Star with ink converter. I believe it's exactly the same appearance to Safari, but this one made from alumunium instead of plastic. Mine has matte finishing, looks very classy, and comes in burgundy (dark purple) color.. which not exist in Safari. Of course the price is slightly higher as well.. but when you look at the pen, no further question asked.

cadeau
Yippeeey.. Just received these cute cadeaux from my mentee. They're all can be found in Scoop. Luckily didn't see nor get them when I dropped by the other day hihihiihiii.. So this is a joy! They are : a pocket notebook with cute little girl on the cover, foldable loose notes, wooden clips in the shape of Eiffel tower, a small blackboard (old-fashion chalkboard on one side and a white board on the other side!) and a mouse pad. The highlight goes to the blackboard. I like the pocket notebook as well. The girl on the cover is just so cute.
So happy and like it a lot.. of course !!

scoop
From the left
- Blue chopsticks with rubber boy and girl. Clever thing for beginner.
- Integrated spoon, fork and knife. 2 blues and 1 red.
- Stickers for diary / agenda / planner.
- Those paper with dots are letter set. Intended to begin writing letter again to my friends.
- Mini ink pad with various colours.
- Flowery agenda and sticky notes on the side (see post : another acquisition)
- Small pencil pouch to store precious pen.
another acquisitions
I have promised myself not to buy any more agenda or planner whatsoever.. Too many stationery in my house and I haven't even share it here. Shame on me, I always find an excuse to have any kind of stationery (or lunchboxes).
I found these things in Scoop Grand Indonesia. For some kinda reason I think the sticky notes (picture on the left) reflects my personality hihihihi ;) Those cute notes will match with the pocket agenda (picture on the right). There are pages for monthly plan in small squares, enough for 12 months. Then weekly plan in larger rectangular shape for each day in 2-pages spread, I forgot to count the pages when I was on the store. At home I found the pages could only hold 42 weeks. What the..??!! However, there are dozens of following pages in lines and grid formats. Sufficient to cover up those missing weekly pages.
Honestly, I won't use them as my day-to-day planning / diary needs. Perhaps I will use some of the sticky notes, but not the agenda. They'll end up as collectibles, stored neatly with my other cute stationery.

penco
I went to Aksara bookstore in Plaza Indonesia recently. In addition to the books, I always take a look at their gift lineups.. urban, modern, a bit retro.. but quite pricey, though. So I mostly just looking around with nothing to buy. Not this time.
Say hello to these new acquisitions. Couple of ballpoint pens and a mechanical pencil. First of all, the Penco Hightide knock ballpoint pen. J'adoooooore la couleur !! I was hooked with the colour of this classic model, with the vintagey look -is this word exist? The gold clip emphasizes the turquoise green barrel. This kinda style reminds me the era of Hawaii Five O. I haven't even born yet.
The pink mechanical pencil is Penco Passer's Mate 0,5 mm. I love the shape of the classic wooden sharpened pencil, though it actually made from plastic. Look at the tiny red eraser on top of it. It is a real eraser. I think it looks like those pencils we used to have during our primary school days. Something not to be missed. However, some of us in Indonesia might not have this kinda pencil. I used to
have black-and-red-stripe Chung Hwa pencils and the blue classic Staedtler Mars Lumographs.
Last but not least, a black ballpoint pen with roller massager on top. Gonna be really useful when you suddenly got headache at the office. Just roll it on your temple / forehead to calm your nerves. I would've prefer the color to be more subtle instead of shocking orange like this one. But well.. I didn't see any option on the store.
