stationery hamper

I was looking through the pics on my twitter account and stumbled upon this.. an old pic dated 26 June 2012. It's actually a hamper full of stationery from my graduated mentees. The hamper includes book enders, stapler, pencil sharpener, colourful pencils, notebooks, small paper cutter in the shape of green giraffe, highlighters, scissors..  Wooowww.. I was sooo delighted, and still, when I look at this picture. One of the most cheerful moment for me.

hoboniching

Once you're hoboniching, you just can't stop. Am not sure if there's such thing as "hoboniching".. but since there are plenty of usage possibilities and many thing you can fill in your hobonichi, I think it's fine to say hoboniching to refer the action.

At the first moment, I felt kinda puzzled of what should I do. I have some stencils stored neatly on the pockets of its front cover as well.. but turns out I don't use them much. Not to mention the agenda arrived on the last week of January. As for now, I have many pages left blank which I haven't decided yet what to fill them with.

Anyway, looking of what others do with their hobonichi, inspires me to do more. Pasting or gluing some pics, together with receipts, torn tickets, or headline from the newspaper. We can also write, draw, highlight and put some colour on the pages. We may skip few pages blank as we might have nothing to tell on such days, or simply too busy to sit down for hoboniching.. but nobody can judge us. We can come back to those pages later and write or draw something. Otherwise, we can do anything else with those blank pages. Paste some sticker, stamp something, make them to test some ink of your various pens, ask your friend or relatives to jot down notes or drawing, cut and paste different wrapping papers.. I mean, ANYTHING !!

So yeah, I've been hoboniching for a while now and the above pictures show you what I do. Just one more thing, hobonichi helps me realize.. that I can draw hahahaha..

animal notes

When it comes to cuteness, I believe it runs on the family. My mum and my sis also love cute things. So, at the moment I saw these palm-size notes in the shape of adorable animals, my thought went immediately to them. I bought those four available kinds, which are a blue elephant, a pink rabbit, a dark brown bear, and a blue cat. One for my sis, one for my mum and two for me. I will let them choose which animal they want. But I want the elephant for sure.

tote bag

Just bought this bag today from Metro Department Store in Plaza Senayan. It's a small tote bag made from sort of grey fabric. Got a 30% discount from its normal price. I like the simple Japan-ish look. Suitable for carrying light items to campus, such as a binder note or an A4 folder, a newspaper or a magazine. It also really nice for a bright day out to the park or mall, where you only need to bring your mobile phone and wallet.

On the top right of the bag, is a set of mini craft punchers. Got it from the same place as tote bag.

cute stickers

I really can't help with cute little stickers. To be honest, I  always wondering where to stick them on to. Sometimes I just let them on their plastic package and end up as collectibles.

On the bottom (far left) is actually cute stickers with my name on it. I use them to label all of my things.. tupperware, notebook, gadgets, etc. I got them from Toys Kingdom Grand Indonesia. Go to the counter, choose the stickers (there are dozens of cartoon characters available), choose the font, and ask the salesperson to type your name.. and it's ready in less than 5 minutes. It costs Rp. 38.000,- (about US$ 3) for each set of 20 laminated labels.

The sticker set on the right was from "I love Tokyo" rack inside the Food Hall in Plaza Indonesia. Those mini animals are soooo cute and cheeky. Not so sure whether I will use it. They're just too cute. I should've bought two sets, but I'm kinda tight in my stationery budget nowadays.. especially for things intended to be collected only. Well, I think I'm gonna use some of them on my hobonichi and moleskine.

On the top right, it's a mini sticky notes decorated with matryoshka (russian nest doll) picture. Ithink it's really cute that I ignore the not-so-reasonable price. Well, it only costs me Rp. 9.900,- (US$ 1) though, but for that price, you can get a pad of classic yellow 3M Post-it Notes or the mini Post-it page marker with much better quality.

items from gramedia pasar baru

Couple weekes ago, my sis sent me whatsapp message with a picture of sale (discounted) items in Gramedia Pasar Baru. I was frantic for wanting all of those stationery in 50% of their normal price. Since I didn't have time to go there, she bought them for me. Thank you, lil sis :D

On the picture shown here, we can see an orange paper sleeve; metalic bookmarks in the shape of pinguin, dolphin, whale and crocodile; paper bookmarks and a cute mouse pad. . Apart from these, my sis also bought me a small alarm clock, an ashtray (will repurpose it as I don't smoke),  a couple of cable fasteners, and a magnetic bookmark.
