stationery in aeon

Last month I blew up my credit card for hobonichi madness. I bought things that happened to be beyond my budget. But well, it's hobonichi and it's hard to say no.

So I promised myself not to spend anything on stationery for this month.

But I relapsed.

I went to Aeon on BSD last weekend. As it was my first time to go there, I didn't know what to expect. Then I saw this.

Aaaaaaa....... I just couldn't resist. So I grabbed some.

And some of these...

And finally, these are things I bought. A small tote bag (cute cats), some washis, a pocket notebook (another cute cat on the cover), sticky mini page marker, sticky to do  list, a pocket cash log book, several other post it notes for dietary or expenses (have no idea, cos it's in Japanese.. I bought them cos they look cute), some sticky notes in the shape of sumo wrestler, and some deco rush.

Looks not much, but in total, they cost me big time. Oh well..

inside my bag - recently

It seems that I always have everything inside my bag. Especially for school, I almost bring everything I can pack into my bag. One addition inside my bag is called "paket minggat" or literally translated as "runaway pack" lol :D

This pack is useful when you need to freshen up for the next class, sleepover at a friend's place, stranded out of nowhere, waiting for hours during connection flight, etc. I'm not sure if it's TSA friendly, but the content are keep into minimum.

It's actually just a basic toiletries pouch. From the top left, a mini pouch in a shape of pink koi fish is to store 'girl thing'. The greeny yellow thing on the  top right is silicon tissue case from hobonichi. Moving to the second row from the left, is Vaseline petroleum jelly (for lip balm and skin dryness), almost empty body lotion tube, ear plugs, Garnier face wash, foldable hair brush. The last row from the left, the blue bottle spray is fabric freshener and softener. The next small bottle is L'Occitane eau de toilette, and then a foldable mirror, a mini bottle of liquid soap, Eskulin hand sanitizer (I like Pigglet), a small tube of Pepsodent toothpaste with a ziplock underneath, and a simple toothbrush (the one you get from a hotel).

These are basic neccessity which help you prepared no matter what situation may be.

PS. Picture shall be posted soon. is now available.

lesportsac everyday bag

Just a quick update that I finally bought this LeSportsac everyday bag. I bought it to replace the old one with merriment print that I like so much. This one is modern plaid print. I really like the colour and this print is quite classy. I can see myself having this bag on formal and casual occasion, including for school activities. Besides, this type of shoulder crossbody bag is called everyday bag. Yap, I like it a lot and I will have it for my everyday bag. See ya.

bag wishlist

My wishlist I made at the beginning of 2014 has finally accomplished. The last item I acquired was the pink agenda de poche that I bought recently this year in Paris. Yep, what a hassle. Well I didn't go to Paris just to bought that cheap planner, though.. It was a coincidence that I managed to go there in (late) May, so the school year has over. That was the perfect time to get agenda scolaire and most of school supplies.

Anyway, now I have another wishlist. I believe for my birthday at the end of this year, I deserve a new bag. Obviously, as a birthday gift. What a lame excuse.

My preference is a tote bag. It's simple and not so expensive. So here goes the list.

As I've mentioned waaay earlier here, I dream to have le sac cabas of Vanessa Bruno. Apparently, there is zippered tote bag for the canvas bag. I spy on the medium size with zipper closure. So I guess it would be 'reasonable' to have one for about 150 euros. Besides, it's very classy.

Another kind of tote bag I want is the basic Longchamp's le pliage nylon. There are so many varieties, but I just want a simple large tote bag or medium handbag. The price might start from 1.7 million rupiah, for the basic nylon type. *sigh*.

I would also love to have another LeSportsac everygirl tote bag. I have one already, but it's a limited edition. So I need one that I can bring everyday or toss it without worry about wear and tear. This bag is -of course- cheaper than the previous two. Around one million rupiah for a durable tote, I think it's still acceptable.

I guess that's all for now. Let's see which one(s) I finally get ;)

purple moleskine and others in fuschia

I overspent my budget this month. Not a good thing to do, but I need to have these things. I mean, I have my reason. Listen, all of these things have one thing in common. They're in fuchia-pink-purple color scheme! Well, not good enough for a reason. Okay, I need to replace my tote bag because the handle of my old one has torn apart. Besides, I like this flippy floppy tote and its price is quite reasonable, Rp.159.000,-

Then, there's this moleskine. Of course I have to buy this planner sooner or later. It's for 2016. Though it was quite expensive, it was hard to resist the color, which I never found for the past few years here. So, I had to let go Rp.220.000,- for it.

The rest of my acquisitions are key clip and cable/cord wrap. They're not so expensive, around Rp.40.000,- each. If you're wondering where I bought those stuff, you can find it in Kinokuniya Plaza Senayan. Apart from the tote bag which only left one in orange, the other stuff are still available in stock.

flippy floppy tote bag

I love tote bags. I love its spirit to just "dump everything and go". A tote has to be simple, a big, spacious main compartment, just the right length of handle and has zipped closure. So it will closed neatly and I don't need to worry when all of my things fall out of the bag. I used to dream about le sac cabas of Vanessa Bruno, but they are too expensive for me. Even if I could afford to buy one, I still think 160-300 euros for a tote is too much for me. Besides, the cabas has no closure. So it's kinda minus point for me.

The quest to find the right tote bag continues. About a year ago, I splurge a lot on LeSportsac everygirl tote bag. I didn't know what was on my mind. Though I must admit, that tote is lightweight, has spacious main compartment, and has zipped closure. I kinda like it. I could use it to have my things for campus or even some clothes for a weekend getaway. I spent too much on it just because the motif is the 'limited edition' of Disney It's a Small World Morocco prints. It's cute, it's rare, so I hate to bring it everyday as it's risky to get scratch or that kinda thing.

A couple of weeks ago, when I surfed Kinokuniya bookstore in Plaza Senayan, I spotted this simple tote bag. It's a Flippy Floppy bag. It's large enough for an A4 folder, yet quite slim to restrain me for dumping things. It has zipped closure and the price is only one tenth of sac cabas. There's another zipped (small) pocket inside --so small it can't fit my wallet; and a smooth lining. I love the colour and handle. The price is reasonable too. I believe this is a local product, though the tag said "designed in Singapore". Well, I think I have found the right tote for me. Yaaayyy..

tote bag

Just bought this bag today from Metro Department Store in Plaza Senayan. It's a small tote bag made from sort of grey fabric. Got a 30% discount from its normal price. I like the simple Japan-ish look. Suitable for carrying light items to campus, such as a binder note or an A4 folder, a newspaper or a magazine. It also really nice for a bright day out to the park or mall, where you only need to bring your mobile phone and wallet.

On the top right of the bag, is a set of mini craft punchers. Got it from the same place as tote bag.

berantakin tas

I always bring my whole life with me. Everyone knows that. Well at least most of my friends know about this. However, when I begin to suffer from back pain (or shoulder and neck pain), I try to go lighter.

As consequences for having all stuff together, I often loose things.. I forgot whether I took or left it somewhere.. and I felt awful about this. Basically, I keep all things, even old receipts and tickets which cause clutter.. and I tend to hoard. But I can't keep up with all of my things all the time, eh?

To avoid losing things -or forget some stuff or misplace some pieces, I emptied and repack my bag. I do this once or twice a week. I often do this at my parents' house, so my sis just had enough. One day she decided to sketch it.. which quite represent the moment.

backpack

*kayak udah dewasa aja hahahaha* So I think a backpack suits me well. I have tried messenger bags couple of times.. though I like it, it ends up with shoulder and back pain.

Banyak banget persyaratannya yah.. hehehehe.

In pursuit of the perfect backpack, I recently found one.

Some of my picks or preference or wishlist - karena musti disiplin ama yang namanya expenses - antara lain adalah :
  • The North Face Borealis series yang kompartemennya gede banget.. I have the old one in pink ;)
Well.. that's a brief info about some backpacks I like. Next time I'll show how a backpack can hold everything needed for school days.. and more.

kehujanan

Pfftt..

  • Minum tolak angin biar nggak masuk angin hehehe..
Proses tersebut diatas dapat memakan waktu 30 menit sampai 1 jam.. so, take your time. We need to stay calm to stay warm.

musim hujan

Pfftt..

So here goes my extra gear during rainy days :
  • Pakai tas model backpack. I personally prefer Eiger (local brand), or American Tourister (affordable brand from Samsonite) or Jansport. I currently use AT Citipro series with rain cover stored neatly on the bottom of the bag.
  • Pakai Crocs shoes.
I have this small and compact umbrella from Esprit.. but apparently it's not as sturdy as I expected.
Mine is from Roxy, bought online.
Next time I will share for other preparation during this rainy season. Stay dry, stay warm.

LeSportsac merriment bag

I have this bag for almost a year now. A LeSportsac merriment print deluxe everyday bag. Bought it in LeSportsac store in PIM2.

Like the name of this model, “everyday bag”, I use it everyday. Baik untuk ke kampus maupun jalan2 ke mall. Kalo pergi nginep semalem doang, cukup juga bawa tas ini.. only to bring the essential stuff. Coraknya bagus, nggak norak, nggak terlalu nge-jreng, warnanya pun cukup lembut. Kalo untuk isinya, I’ll post next time for the details. Enough said.
